BTR and Intensive Group home

Our BTR/Intensive Group Home program provides therapeutic treatment and a structured living environment for girls who are able to continue at their community school during the day. We provide numerous opportunities for community and family involvement to help girls make successful transitions to their home or other less restrictive setting.

Through an innovative collaboration with the Arlington Public Schools, our girls receive the support they need to experience success in the middle school and high school. Germaine Lawrence staff are at the school during the day to provide any special therapeutic support our girls may need to be successful students. Marrying our therapeutic expertise to a mainstream school helps our girls integrate into the social and academic school environment and gain skills to become lifelong learners.

The BTR and intensive group home program incorporates:

  • Innovative clinical services using cognitive behavioral methods.
  • Individual and family therapy and a wide variety of specialized group therapies.
  • Board-certified child psychiatrists, on-site nursing staff, and medical services backed up by Boston Children’s Hospital.
  • Comprehensive activity programming both on and off campus, including sports, arts, music and drama.
