Donors

  • Donor records are confidential. Records will be made available to staff and board members as needed to fulfill their duties.
  • If donors request anonymity, their information is kept strictly confidential.
  • Germaine Lawrence will not publish the specific amount of a donor's gift. Germaine Lawrence's practice is to reveal only the donor name and the numerical range or sponsor level of the gift in public materials, including the annual report and event invitations, unless a donor specifies otherwise.

Client Confidentiality

  • Clients are referred to in all cases by first name only, and in certain instances the names are changed entirely. This includes wishlists, public relations materials, speeches, grant requests, and other materials.
  • Images of students in photographs or on video are only used with previously obtained permission from the student's parent or guardian.
