Germaine Lawrence provides a comprehensive array of assessment services for adolescent girls. Our diagnostic evaluations are tailored to each individual girls’ needs and are designed to provide clear and thorough treatment recommendations. Our experienced staff ensure that families, consultants and other professionals have a full understanding of the presenting issues and most appropriate next steps.

Germaine Lawrence has an outstanding track record providing STARR and CBAT services. Our research shows that over 90% of girls in our STARR program successfully complete their goals and discharge to a less restrictive or parallel level of care.

All of our short term programs feature:

• Campus setting that makes management of challenging behaviors more feasible
• Intensive family engagement, including and in-home and onsite family coaching, as well as other family supports
• Short lengths of stay
• Strength-based milieu therapy, teaching skills and self control strategies
• Innovate, comprehensive clinical services, including individual, group and family therapy
• Focus on meeting the educational needs of each girl, either through our onsite day program, community school when appropriate, onsite tutoring or continuity with school work sent by the home school. Our educational services are led by a certified teacher.
